Scraper & Import

The two entry points for your catalog: the Scraper reads the supplier's site by URL, and Import uploads a file you already have. Both feed products into the same pipeline.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Every product on Trinis enters through one of these two paths and then follows the same pipeline — enrichment → image → publishing.

The Scraper module

The Scraper is included in every plan, including Trial. It identifies the supplier's platform from the URL (VTEX, Shopify, Nuvemshop, WooCommerce…) and, when it doesn't recognize any of them, reads the page with AI.

The full flow — creating a vendor, choosing the collection scope, testing with Test scrape, triggering and scheduling jobs — is covered in Setting Up Collect.

Import: when to use it

Use Import Products (side menu) when:

Import also requires the Scraper module to be active (every plan has it) and counts against the monthly product quota, like any job.

The template and columns

On the import screen, download the template in CSV or XML using the template button. Accepted formats: .csv and .xml.

ColumnRequiredNotes
nomeYesProduct title.
descricaoYesBase description — AI rewrites it if enrichment is on.
precoYesFinal selling price, with a decimal point (49.90). Published as-is.
eanRecommendedWithout an EAN, products aren't deduplicated — reimporting creates duplicates in the store.
imagem_urlNoPublic URL of an image.
categoriaNo—
tagsNoComma-separated.

Example rows (the ones starting with Exemplo:) are ignored automatically.

Upload and review

Once you choose the file, Trinis parses it right away and shows:

Fix the file and resubmit if there are errors. Nothing is saved at this stage.

Shopify export If the CSV has Shopify's export header (Handle, Title, Variant Price…), Trinis recognizes it automatically, maps the columns, and merges variant rows into one product per Handle (using the first variant of each). The description's HTML is converted to plain text.

Run the import

Once the preview is confirmed, choose:

Clicking Import sends the products into the pipeline: (enrichment) → image → publishing by EAN. Track progress in the Jobs tab.

Same pipeline Import and Scraper share everything after intake: approval before publishing, the pre-action snapshot, and the job's revert button all work the same way. Images follow the Deliver rule: imagem_url is processed by Image AI when active, or published as it came.

If there's no capacity left for the month, the import is trimmed to whatever fits the quota — or blocked, with the option to buy extra credits.
