Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account, installing the app from the Shopify App Store or using any part of the Trinis AI platform (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these terms.

2. Description of the Service

Trinis AI provides an AI-powered product pipeline — Collect, Enrich & Deliver — that lets you import catalogs, enrich product copy and images with AI, sync and publish products to your Shopify store, generate blog posts, apply price and SKU routines, create backup snapshots and view store performance metrics.

Available features, usage limits and add-ons vary by the plan you subscribe to and may change over time.

3. Account and user responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity carried out on your account.
• You must provide truthful information at sign-up and keep it up to date.
• Accounts created automatically from a Shopify install are linked to the corresponding Shopify store and administered by the merchant who owns that store.
• You are responsible for reviewing content generated by the platform before publishing it to your store.

4. Connecting to Shopify

To operate, the Service connects to your Shopify store via OAuth, with the strictly necessary access scopes (products, inventory, content and, where applicable and approved by Shopify, aggregated order data). You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the store in the dashboard or uninstalling the app from Shopify. Use of Shopify is also subject to Shopify's own terms.

5. Plans, billing and refunds

• Stores that install through Shopify: billing is handled by the Shopify Billing API and appears on your Shopify invoice. Cancellation follows Shopify's flow and ends the subscription at the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions purchased directly on trinis.ai or other platforms: billing is processed by Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annual), renewing automatically until cancelled.
• Add-ons (credits, AI models, bulk image processing, modules) are billed separately, as contracted.
• Unless required by law, amounts paid are non-refundable; when you cancel, you keep access to the plan until the end of the period already paid for.
• Applicable taxes may be added to the plan price.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe third-party rights; publish misleading, infringing or Shopify-prohibited content; attempt to circumvent usage limits, quotas or security controls; overload, probe or interfere with the Service's infrastructure; or resell the Service without written authorization.

7. AI-generated content

AI-generated descriptions, copy and images are automatically produced suggestions and may contain inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving this content before publishing, and for ensuring it is accurate, does not infringe third-party rights and complies with the laws and Shopify policies applicable to your business.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, its code, brand and materials are owned by Trinis AI. Your catalog data, the content you approve and publish and your store data remain yours. You grant us a limited license to process that data only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

9. Availability and changes

We strive to keep the Service available, but it is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, with notice where the change is material.

10. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel at any time from the dashboard (or by uninstalling the app from Shopify). We may suspend or terminate access in case of a breach of these terms, non-payment, chargeback or use that puts the platform or third parties at risk. After termination, associated data is handled per the Privacy Policy and Shopify's retention policies (including the mandatory deletion webhooks).

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trinis AI is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data or lost sales arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Trinis AI's total liability, in any event, is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Trinis AI for third-party claims arising from the content you publish, misuse of the Service or a breach of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Trinis AI's domicile are chosen to resolve disputes, unless the law provides otherwise.
