Image AI swaps the main image's background with AI as the product moves through the pipeline. Image Bulk does the same, on demand, for the catalog already live in your store.

Image AI is a pipeline module — it runs automatically between enrichment and publishing, for every product in a job. For each product:
gpt-image-1 at 1024×1024: the AI swaps the background and standardizes lighting, without altering the product. The applied background comes from the "Image background style" field under Settings → Enrichment — a prompt saved as the account default, with ready-made templates (stone, white marble, linen and wood, white studio) or your own text. It's the same field described in AI Enrichment.
If you don't configure anything, Trinis uses a built-in default: a light stone surface background in beige and sand tones, soft natural lighting, no watermarks.
Every published image gets alt text generated from the product title — this helps with store accessibility and image SEO. It applies to both the pipeline and Image Bulk.
Image Bulk applies the same main-image treatment, but on demand, to products already in your store — useful for cleaning up an entire catalog that was published before you turned on Image AI.
| Tier | Price/mo | Images/mo |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $48 | 500 |
| Advanced | $99 | 2,000 |
| Unlimited | $199 | no practical limit |
Activate it under Billing → Image Bulk. It's an add-on independent from the pipeline's Image AI module.
Editing a product's main image by hand — cutting out the background, standardizing lighting, exporting — takes about 15 to 20 minutes per item in an editor. Here's the math by tier:
| Tier | Images/mo | Equivalent manual time | Cost per image |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential · $48/mo | 500 | ~125–165 hours | ~$0.10 |
| Advanced · $99/mo | 2,000 | ~500–660 hours | ~$0.05 |
| Unlimited · $199/mo | no practical limit | — | marginal |
Even if you outsource editing at $1–2 per image, the Essential tier gets you 500 images for the price of ~30–50 done by hand. And the payoff isn't just cost: a catalog with a consistent background converts better and clears the store's quality review faster.
For each product, Trinis pulls the main image from Shopify, re-renders it with AI using the account's style, publishes the new one in its place (with alt text), and removes the old one. Secondary images are not changed.
